Membership

Membership in the Roughrider Association is free!  Complete the registration form below for submission.

When approved, the Secretary will email you your membership number.  Once the Association is more established financially, you will receive a personalized membership card.

Donations are always accepted to cover the administrative costs of initial registration.

General Membership: Reserved for Marines and Sailors that are serving or have previously served at 9th Motors, 3d TSB, 3d TB, CLB 12, and/or 12th LLB.  General members have full voting rights.

Associate Membership: Reserved for spouses, widows, widowers, ancestors, or lineal descendants of individuals eligible for general membership.  Associate membership does not include voting rights.

Honorary Membership: Extended by the Board to individuals who support the Association’s mission and are not eligible for General or Associate memberships.  Honorary membership does not include voting rights.

As the Association endeavors to become a tax-exempt 501(c)(19) veterans organization, the Secretary will ensure that at least 75% of the Club’s members are past or present members of the United States Armed Forces and at least 97.5% of its member are present or former members of the United States Armed Forces; cadets (including only students in ROTC programs or at Armed Services academies); or spouses, widows, widowers, ancestors, or lineal descendants of individuals referred above.
