As part of its support to active-duty Roughriders, the Association desires to establish an annual awards program to provide non-monetary awards to recognize excellence. The Association would solicit nominees from the 12th Littoral Logistics Battalion leadership for selection and awarding by the Board of Directors.
Awardees would receive an engraved plaque and their name added to a perpetual plaque displayed in the battalion's command post.
Interested in endowing one or more of these awards? Want to name sponsor an award for a Marine or Sailor with whom you've served or a key operation in the battalion's history? Don't see an award for a career field or rank that you would like to see recognized? Contact the Secretary to discuss.
The awards highlighted in blue are available for endowment. The Association respectfully requests a $500 donation to endow an award ($1000 for the Roughrider of the Year award) for five years and a $250 donation for a five-year name sponsorship.
Name sponsorships will include the personage / operation / theme engraved on the individual award, inclusion on the perpetual plaque, and a page and blog post on the Association's website to highlight its significance.
